There is a bug in the product install system that can cause a database error when installing a new version of product, when you have previously had an older version installed. Generally (though not always) this is when you install or update a vb4 version of a product when you have previously had a 3.x version installed.

The error will look like this example ;

Block Disabled:      (Update License Status)
Suspended or Unlicensed Members Cannot View Code.

The way to quickly get around this is to delete all the old -10 templates from your database (they are not needed, they are just old copies).

The following MySQL query will do this ;

Block Disabled:      (Update License Status)
Suspended or Unlicensed Members Cannot View Code.

Please note that template is the table name and should be typed exactly as is unless you use any tablename prefix (e.g. vb3_template).

Once you have done this, you can import the product as normal.

This bug has been reported, but is currently unfixed, I believe it will be addressed in vB 4.0.4.
