Requesting a Import Hack: vB 1.1.4/5 ---> 2.x

Would someone make a hack that allows you to import your info from a 114/115 board into a 2.0 board?

This is because my host has permissions set up so I can do a fresh install, but not a upgrade...

I have seen one other request for this somewhere too... dont remember the place tho

how about downloading your data, installing php/mysql on your windows machine (get free download from www.nusphere.com) do the upgrade on your windows machine, dump the database and then upload into your new installation. Take a while but can be done.

I had this problem and it turned out it was the pms fields on my user table, after I droped them it worked great

I need that hack too if possible :(

I can't get my custom avatars to work.

I actually finally got the upgrade done

What I had to do (pretty simple actually, just irritating) was:

1. upgrade from 1.1.4 --> 1.1.5
2. upgrade from 1.1.5 --> 2.0 beta 1
3. upgrade from 2.0 beta 1 --> 2.0 beta 2


that worked

In the members area, there is no place where you can download beta 1 :(

I really don't recommend you upgrade to beta 1 and then beta 2.

Try to check your database fields for any installed hack, and get rid of them, like the pm fields!

Then upgrade to a clean version of 1.1.5 and upgrade to 2.0 b2

why not do beta1 -- beta2?


if u do it ur way all users loose all their pms

what do you mean by drop table?

in myphpadmin it saids add "drop table" is that what you mean?
