"Allow Users to eMail other Members" per Usergroup
Description
This Hack allows yout to specify which usergroups may eMail other members, rather then having only a global switch.
!!! Attention !!! This overrides the vBulletin setting (eMail Options / Allow Users to Email Other Members)
Details
1 Product XML (1 Phrase, 2 Plugins)
Where do you dream this stuff up? ;)
Any way to also make it user selectable and un-selectable?

It actually was a bug report @ .com ;)
And while it wasn't a bug, I thought it would be a nice thing to have.
What do you mean with "User selectable", and admin option "this use can email other members, this user can't" ?
is there a vb 3.52? sweet can't wait

Yes, since you might have that one member that is making problems for others members but you don't want to stop the whole usergroup from being able to use this. ;)

I C. Guess that would be an addition for my "Admin Permission Override" Hack. Unfortunately it would rely on a certain execution order then ... hmm.

If anyone could do it, you can. ;)

hi guys,
Im kind of retarded, I am trying to only send this to one usergroup, its a custom user group and its a secondary group.
When I try it only finds "me" and sends to my user - what amd I doing wrong?

nevermind I got it - I thought that if you clicked mutliple secondary user groups it would be an "or" search, thus giving both of those user groups the email/pm message.
Instead its an "and" search.
Just means I gotta do it mutliple times :)
