you upload pmsender.php file to admincp from folder uploads/admincp
you upload file cpnav_pms.xml to include/xml folder

you go to add product and add this file product-pmsender.xml

your all done

An Extention for this already exists and works fine. Unless your mod is for others besides admins.

Yeah this looks sweet. Really nice idea to allow the group leader's to send the PM's too! I still have no idea how to use member groups in vB though...

What don't you know? Usegroups just lump members into groups and you can through permissions at them.

And here's another: SuperPM (http://www.vbulletin.org/forum/showthread.php?t=100314) This one lets you assign SuperPM abilities to anyone, as well as what usergroups they can PM to. It integrates into the standard user's "Send Private Message" screen.

Don't get me wrong, I like seeing all the options, and great work from everyone. Just wanted others to know what's out there.

Files? This hack is using plugins, my friend. As for your question, yes you'll have to overwrite the existing plugin with the new one and be sure to tick on the "Yes" check box.

I must say: *EXCELLENT* work. It works alot better for me than the other "mass pm" plugin that was mentioned earlier in this thread. My board has about 10.000 members, so if I want to PM everyone, I need to be sure the script can handle such a huge amount of users.

The other plugin did not handle that amount of users.

Your plugin does handle it.

Also, selecting the usergroups with checkboxes is easier than having a short scroll window, especially if you have ~20 usergroups.

Yes, again this hack , ok I installed it before in my old version I faced one problem , when you send to more than 500 user it will not take you to the next page , actually it take you back to the first page
That’s mean this hack can send only 500 PMs
Again same happened with new version !!!!!

Any ideas plz

Great hack, but i can't find the add product you mention :confused:
