Essentially a copy of the TimeSlip functions and rename to Dyno

Hey I'm having an issue with trying to get the details to show up on 3.7.2 I'm getting this error

I've noticed that we couldn't do the edits in member.php so what I did was used a copy from before renamed it membertimeslips.php and uploaded it and edited timeslips.php to go to the new file however I am still getting this error. Any ideas?

If you don't want to pay $35, then don't. And deal with trying to work around trying to get a basic hack that hasn't been supported since 3.5 to work. People are willing to pay to get the Timeslip Database mod to work for 3.7. But I guess $35 for a much better product (that is supported) is too much for others...

Who uses it? I do. And I know there are at least 5 other sites that do as well. Not too bad for something that was just made public a week ago. So yeah, there isn't a whole lot of people using it yet. But as word spreads, I'm sure more and more people will jump on.

Since I've added garage, my user base grew 20 members in one day and I had 9 Premium Members sign up that day! No joke. I have this mod restricted so that only Premium Members can create garages, but everyone can view them. People use their garage pages to show case their rides on other car sites (similar to what Car Domain has to offer), except easier to look at.

The Garage feature has paid itself off. $35 is very minimal amount to ask for such a large modification and is a MUST for any automotive site. A competitor site of mine has an image gallery they paid $150 for an owned license.

Myself, I will be donating much more to the creator of this software if/when I get more money from my site. Right now, all I get from Premium Members goes right back into the site/merchandising/software.

We have been missing this modification since we had phpBB. We lost it after the site was hacked due to the flaw in the software, then we went to phpBBv3.... it being poorly designed/lacking features, we decided to move over to vBulletin (and loving it)... Now that there is a garage feature, it makes it EVEN MORE worth while to have vBulletin (ontop of all of its great features). Highly recommended.

To dig through the last 20 or so pages and find someone who might have had a similar issue. One more reason that is product sucks in its current phase. Its been patched and hacked so many times since 3.5 that its just a bunch of jumbled code now to make it potentially work with the current version of vb. All I can say is good luck, and happy reading...

I figured out how to delete this product. What worked for me was to re-install the xml product file w/overwrite checked. Afterwords I was able to successfully delete the product.

I spent a lot of time trying to figure out that very simple procedure. Support for this product is less than stellar and I'm in awe at how the creator is disregarding all the offers to pay him to code this for 3.7.x

It's much easier to use spend $35 on that other garage product, which has infinitely better features and layout.

I use this on my site and have now for about 2 weeks, I really like it and my members really like it. They say the best one they have used. Dylan from CND is a HUGE help if you have questions and/or problems he has always been right there to help. OK, first I completely cannot remember all I've done along the way. Can you let me know what errors you are receiving and I can try and help?

One thing that needs to be changed in the timeslips.php file...since the profile page has completely been revamped since the last timeslips update, here's how I got the "details" link working correctly (it would cause an error).

Find this line of code in timeslips.php:

This is because the "vehicle details" section of the profile got wiped out in the latest update. However, all of the info still exists in the "About Me" tab of a user's profile. Changing the link to point to the "About Me" tab nets the same effect.

My timeslips page (and php file) are majorly hacked from the base mod here. I added in user selectable vehicles so only certain vehicles could be added and a user is required to choose from that set. It makes it easier to group and sort by vehicles specific to our forum's topic.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask. I may not be able to answer (or answer right away), but I'll take a look and see how your issue is working on my forum and try and point you in the right direction.

For give me for being a newbie. Where is the image.php and member.php templates? I'm running version 3.7.4 and all I see is memberlist and memberinfo templates. Nothing that singles out member.php. Btw I don't see an anything close to image.php on there. Where can I find this template to edit it as instructed.

Anything ending in .php is not a template, but an actual file. So you'll have to edit the actual file.

I finally bought the C&D Garage, and it works much better and has more features. I tried to continue to use the Timeslip database, but got to many errors with it.

Now, I have been having the hardest time trying to uninstall it. Gonna try a few more approaches to uninstall it, but my guess is that the code for the uninstall is trying to reference fields that no longer exist in the MySQL database. Any thoughts?

OK...so I checked my database and the fields are no longer there as I suspected. Now I still had the problem of uninstalling, but I deleted the uninstall code and tried to uninstall, and this time it worked.

Hope this helps. I liked the Plug-In, but for just $35 I was able to get more control and allow members with multiple vehicles to post times, pictures, mods, dyno graphs and so much more. Still...I wish it was free.

I still can't believe there are some many people out there desperatetly trying to get this to work on vB versions that aren't supported with the hack.

I had this working (very heavily modded and very specific to the types of vehicles on my site) on 3.8.4, but I'm lost how to get this working for VB4. Get the infamous Warning: fetch_template() calls should be replaced by the vB_Template class error on my dev site when accessing the timeslips page.

1 - AdminCP > Plugin & Products > Manage Products > Vbulletin Garage > Uninstall > Go

2 - Log into your domain account with your FTP client. Verify that all vB garage files/folders are no longer present. If so, delete.

3 - AdminCP > User Profile Fields > User Profile Field Manager > find Field 50 > Click Delete

4 - Log into your CPanel > phpMyAdmin > open up your forum database > look for the following tables (vbgarage_images, vbgarage_users, vbgarage_comments). If they are present, click on each table and hit the drop tab to drop the table.

5 - AdminCP > Maintenance > Update Counters > Rebuild your Forum Info, Thread Info, and Post Cache

I believe I have this removed fully, except in my AdminCP under "vBulletin Options" there is still a listing for "Timeslip Database" and when you click on it, it has no content... just the standard dark blue screen and it says:
Timeslip Database Settings - 'save' 'reset' and thats it. No actual settings offered.
Any idea how to remove this as well?

Therefore, you could port the VB 3.0 version (which I attached) to VB 3.8. I am not sure if there will be much demand for this hack, as a similar hack has been released (http://www.vbulletin.org/forum/showthread.php?t=236888).

Has anyone updated this for vB 4.1.7? I'm looking for a timeslip mod that will allow my members to just upload their timeslips and post their 1/4 mile times.

Can anyone update this mod to work with 4.1.10? I don't need all the features in VB Pro Garage Timeslips (http://www.vbulletin.org/forum/showthread.php?t=236888&page=52) only a database for members to list their vehicle + 1/4 mile time from fastest to slowest.
