Mmm... you need a shared host of some sort - I'm not familiar with them. Definitely not a dedicated or virtual.

Where do you live? Living in Australia like Erwin, or in the US is not the same regarding WWW speed with the host.
ps: shared hosting would be your plan, I second erwin.

That's a very small plan, you can find a plan like that for less than $5 on most hosting sites. I'd check out www.webhostingtalk.com and read some reviews.

I have also hear www.hostgator.com are pretty good
I use HostGator. They provide good service at a good price. I recommend them.

I have been with www.bluehost.com for over 2 years now, there have been minor hickups due to some very large ddos attacks but otherwise I personally have not had any problems with them.
15 Gb of storage, 400 GB of bandwidth etc.

i'm hosted at hostgator and i recommend them
php safe mode => off
unlimited MySQL databases
there control panel is cpanel
unlimited pop 3 email accounts
GD => yes
ImageMagick => yes
webstats => awstats
SSH/shell access => no (at shared or reseller servers )
storage => they have plans that fit your needs ....
there technical support is one of the best i have ever worked with.Not the usual "we are looking into it reply after 24 hours" support questions are answered and in most cases solved within 3 hours
there is however one dislike i have with hostgator.If you have a verry large database (and you're on a shared server) you will have to ask them to make a backup whenever you want one you can't do this yourself there

No shell access means you look for another server host.

Avoid IntegraHost.com they are complete and utterly useless. My new web host is miles more reliable and much more efficient. Integrahost talk a good deal but they have ZERO customer service!

Just want to chime in and say that if you're looking for something expandable, powervps.com is absolutely outstanding. Best host I've ever had.

Hostww.net (http://www.hostww.net). I've been with them for 10 months and am very happy.

I would without a doubt not recommend 1&1 hosting. Although one of the largest hosts out there, they are also trash. I have heard that a company called asmallorange or something like that is pretty good, also heard good things about host gator and hostww.net although I haven't dealt with them

I would give www.site5.com a try, I think their hosting is fairly premium and nice support system.
