pm mod. removing popup

So I installed a pm blinking mod like here on vb.org..d red blinking one.
My members are complaining now about having 2 sets of notification...i.e. the extra pop up one.
How do i take that off?

AdminCP => vBulletin Options => vBulletin Options => User Registration Options => Default Registration Options

and

AdminCP => Maintenance => Execute SQL Query => No - Pop up a Notification Box When a Private Message is Received (automatic query for all users)

There isn't an easy option to turn this function totally off.
