Ok. This is what is in devlopment. A hack that allows the Moderator of his/her Private Forum able to add people to the access list, without having to specify their permssions. They would have default permssions from what the board administrator allows them to have. :D

Am I missing something here? Why do you need a hack for that? You can already do it with a usergroup.

This is allowing the moderator to undertake the task of private forum permissions rather than the Administrator :)

oh I see....

ok, well that's a cool idea. If you need a hand, Shane, let me know because I know how to write it (but I won't steal your thunder if you already got it figured out! :D )

OMG. I posted this a long time ago. Umm.. I still might work on this hack. I been busy with my website and for one of my sites I been creating a simple forum so I totall forgot about this hack. My other site uses vB though. :D

So... untill my mind is back on track from school, other stuff, etc. this project been on hold. So... umm... cya! :)

bria... i think this is still usefull but I havn't look at the 2.0.1 and on updates and have no idea if they added passworded forums yet. I think they did or maybe not cause 2 sites I visit often have this feature but if it isn't included I plan on getting started on this right away. :) Cause an access list is easier than passwords with cookies and stuff. :)
