View Full Version : IE aborted error code seems fine?

Hey guys,

my coder seems to have run into a problem.

we just finished a skin and we are getting the dreaded IE aborted error when u click a cat to show the threads.

thing is it works in vb 3.6.0 but not 3.6.1 or higher.

and everything works fine in firefox. just ie thats taken a hissy fit.


anyone have an idea of what causes this error as hes adiment the code is fine.

any help would be great as its due 2morrow :S cuting it short if we want to get this error fixed.

Have you tried running it through the W3C validator? if it's something that picks up then it should point you in the right direction.

am not a coder so i cant tell what would coz this problem.

and my coder is adiment the code is fine and should work.

if anyone has time could u maybe quickly have a look over the code and see if anything jumps out at you that would maybe coz an abortion error.

hmmm. That isn't looking too neat at first glance, and I can identify a few potential problem areas.

Bear with me a few mins while I wire up the PC and if you would like to take a proper look at the whole thing I will do.

found problem :)

yeah code isnt neat but works heh :)


as always it was something daft and not in the header or footer.

was stupid css class that knocked it to pot in the forumhome.

all fixed and sorted now
