Anyone know the Rebuild Attachment Thumbnails manual query. Mine will time out using the admincp doing it :-\

Try setting the "Number of attachments to process per cycle" lower and it should work.

setting it to 10 does the same thing. Over 20k attachments so that maybe the problem?

Hmmm well I don't know then. Did you try setting it to 5 or 2 ?
