Help with SLOW site

I am new at this... I am running 3.5.4. I have run the query REPAIR TABLE datastore; in my phpAdmin. For a while it seemed faster, but then I was changing some of my options and seemed to have really slowed it down again.

Can anyone help me quick?

Well, we could help you if you tell us some more detailed information about what have you done, what options did you change. :)

- make sure you have the latest php/mysql versions installed on your server
- also, go over each vbulletin options and disable each one that suggests to "disable to save on server resources"

Ok, I disabled all to save resources... No change.

How do I make sure I have the latest php/my sql versions installed on my server?

Do you have any mods installed? It sounds like you might just need a better host.

Yeah, it hangs pretty hard. I clicked on a link and it took 14 seconds to even respond. Out of curiosity, who is your host?
