Simple VB question

hey guys

i am tring to customize my forums in a cool way
i need to place ads not using the mods
i want to know the file which i can edit so that i will be able to put ads at the top just under the navigation bar
Which file will i need to edit to do that

You generally don't edit files, just templates through the admincp.

If you wanted adds under the navbar, you could add them at the bottom of the navbar template.
