Good idea but ....
I nearly go into epileptic fits looking at the thing ...
Is it supposed to be blurred as it scrolls ?

Pop up menus on navbar don't work with IE when you have Marquee Text enabled ;)

I alternated the blue with hot pink and my users call it the "creepy crawlie"

You should add $username so that it shows the username.

this marquee text addon is not so good.
if you know something about marquee tag, you can do better things
There's an error in the code. You close off a <font> tag with </color> - this could cause strange issues...
Edit the marquee_text template and replace </color> with </font>
I'd also suggest adding scrollamount in addition to scrolldelay to get a smoother marquee...
again, edit the marquee_text template and replace scrolldelay="$vboptions[mtext_speed]" with scrolldelay="$vboptions[mtext_speed]" scrollamount="2" for a smootehr scolling experience...

Good point, dartho. I know Atakan KOC has been very busy recently putting out mods here, but, I use this mod, glad to have it available to me, but, wonder why, if it's a bit glitched, this hasn't been addressed.

I'd like it better if ithere was some way to add a line break ( <br /> ) so that I can put space between it and whatever is over or under it.
Good mod nonetheless :)

I love this mod and use it to display images across the top of some of my forums and affiliate banner links on another - it works brilliantly! Thanks for the mod!

Hey, Peggy,
I achieved this by simply adding a <br /> at the end of the code in the marquee_text template. I'm guessing the same would work above it too.
nice i like it thanks...........

Love this mod, however, would like to give access to my moderators not just my admin. Is there a way to do this? Possibly add config to ModCp? Any help greatly appreciated.

Cool mod!
Installed.
Thanks for creation this MOD.
questions:
Is it possible to use smilies in future versions?
When I will upgrade to vB v3.8.0, should I then uninstall this MOD and install same MOD for vB 3.8, or just overwrite this MOD with new one (for vB v3.8)?
