translate date and time

I would like to translate some word such as January, February, Feb, Apr.... etc , AM and PM where can I find these words in the forum files or templates..

you will find the months in templates & calendar.php ..

AM & PM go to your admin section> change options> [Date / Time options]

in calendar.php for instance would it be possible to change the months according to which templates the user uses... (example to have german english and french months....)????
