I was looking for a backup from a site I hosted (just something simple that I didn't want to recreate). So I go into my backups folder and search around, its not there, but I find some intresting blasts from the past.
Intresting Items worth noting
Beta of the HTL by KuraFire
Early Development verisons of uCS and styles
Floris' vBnl ProStyle
vBulletin Templates vB3 template backup (I'm not sure why I have this tbh, I don't remember doing it or brad giving it to me).
The vB Hosting Hack
reeallllly old verisons of vBXirc (the vb2 one)
_the_ beta code for Tigga's mYvBindex v4 AKA vBadvanced HomePageMakes me think back about how we actually had to EDIT files (no wai!) and run queires in phpmyadmin.
Ok, I'll be done now.

lol, yeah, good old days... i have all these hacks in hand too, actually i have about all the potential hacks that were released since 2003... some of them would be useful today, just need update...
and i continue to edit files, i hate plugins, they work half the time .. lol

There are only about 4-5 people in the world who have the mYvBindex 4 code, and I know them. :p Brain would kill me if that every found its way into the sunlight.

How about a file with vB1/vBLite on my disk. ;)
I still have Chen's original last 10 searches hack.

I've reformatted my computer about.. 40 times since those days, and I don't think I was even around for a few of them.
I never usually kept hacks, I'd just extract and delete.. because if you ever came back to needing them again, chances are they were updated, and the old version you had was just gathering kb dust.
I still have Chen's old vbhacker system or whatever it was called :) On the fly code changes, nice!

I have a few old vB2 styles laying around on a CD somewhere, I know one of them is the Evolution-X theme, then one called Mystique.
I think I have a few old hacks too, not sure, gotta find that CD. :p

I just took a walk down memory lane, myself and I stumbled upon some old software. Pretty cool how that years go by and the technology that used to be good now is not even used anymore.

That's the nature of the beast. :D

Who doesn't have that? ;)
I found some of your old code on one of my HDDs the other day. I won't go into details but it was something you were working on for vB.org that never got finished...I also still have the code for that "tracking" system. ;)
I found a bunch of other stuff too...the "good stuff" are the irc logs from years ago from all the private channels the staff members hung out in (and all private chats people had with me of course). :D
vBulletin Templates vB3 template backup (I'm not sure why I have this tbh, I don't remember doing it or brad giving it to me).
I think I gave you a copy for local testing...been so long I can't remember.

Please don't disclose any of my old code, that could ruin my reputation. ;) :D

I remember writing mods for vBulletin 2/3.0.x.
I thought I was so cool cuz I could write conditionals. :D

That was a GREAT idea. I never had the code, but I managed to figure out how to do it ;)
