This is the time we can really hurt ebay and take the wind out of the their sail. striking this holiday season will cost them more then they wanted to bargain for.

Starting October 1st, and Ending it on Jan 1, lets do it again! I know it will be difficult to do so, being it is the most craziest time of the year for sales and ebay is still holding as the largest marketplace online, but there are other places out there (most of the large ones are on the forums here) and you can market to other places easily. ebay is NOT needed anymore and we can prove that to them this year.

spread the word, and lets hold down our position, not giving up or giving into ebays greed, their fee structure hikes, and show them that we just dont need them as much as they think we do.

so what do we have to do to not give into ebay? just dont buy and sell things on ebay at all.
dont use paypal, period. by doing these small changes, all of us, we can do a lot.

cant give up on using paypal as i use it for a lot of things.
Also if u havea gripe against ebay then your words above are proberly best for you - DONT use it.

But for some of us - we have no option and tbh i dont find their fees that expensive.Ebay and Paypal are a business and as such have to be competitive in order to survive.
I rarely buy anything off ebay (3 things in the last yr - but paypal is a different story as i use Paypal every week without fail)

Id rather have paypal that have to give my credit card to all these companies that i have used in the past.

u can also use google checkout as an alternative....

ebay has done alot of shady business that has affected its sellers, including me. with fee hikes and wierd rules they've imposed. they are also pushing out the small business owners and replacing them with larger companies like buy.com and more.

its not the same place, there is greed now with them, and its been seen by almost every top seller on there.

I think they had a few less hits

when the last strike happened, it had a huge impact on ebay, they were forced to make fake listings in order to keep their numbers up, thats been proven.

It is pathetic to see people making propaganda on something they do not even understand...

eBay is not the black sheep here, you are. If you act wrong on a system like this, or if you are stupid enough to make deals for impossible deals, it's your brain to lock up, not the website...

and remember one stat: in new-york, there is 10 to 25 murders per day... there was never a single one on eBay!
