My favorites are:

1) special folder icons to threads you've posted in
2) jump to first un-read post in a thread

But of course those have made their way into the standard version already.

My ideal hack would be email integration. Wow that would be nice!

1. Stars. still a hack and my members adore their little aliens. I have a whole flipping forum for them.

then

2. usenet hack. when i get it ready, bit busy with crashing servers.

i also quite like modlog.php by overgrow, who posted (need to reinstall that) and will install who's online when bugs ironed out.

Far and away, best hack is PHP Portals at phpportals.com. My site runs on it and you can get a good idea of what it does immediatley.

It would be really nice to have some way of listing all these hacks in a non postable forum much like Vbulletin.org. However I find that this board lacks just one bit of important information.

Hack Versions.... One may get to a hack only to find out it was for another version.... code killer when you really don't know what you are doing.... then you say "Why is she messing around with hacks when she really dosen't know what she is doing?" Well, we all gotta learn.

Maybe sort each hack by version of Vbulletin - If there is a repeat for another version just list the thread to the previous one. That way I only have to look through one area - LAZY aren't I :D

1. vbProtal (wajones)
--- because I was big on nuke until vb came around it it combines the two for me to play with

2. stars (tubedogg)
--- all my users basically crave it

3. mood (toratora, bradc)
