Album Next & Prev Links Use AJAX 1.1

About this hack:
This hack should be a standard feature in vBulletin. But since it is not, enjoy this mod.

While viewing a picture in an album, this hack makes the Next & Previous Picture links AJAX. Instead of the whole page refreshing and you have to scroll back to the picture area to see the picture, just hit next and the image will change along with the comments and anything else that belong to the picture.

All you have to do is upload the product file. No template edits or ftp file uploads.

This hack will work with my Album Picture Clicks to Next Picture in Album template mod. When you click on the picture, the image will just change to the next image without refreshing the page.

This hack works on both vb 3.7 and vb 3.8.

Abe, any way to keep the table at a constant height without collapsing/expanding every time an image is loaded?

I guess I can do a template edit allowing for the max height of my images.

Okay works great, the only thing now is that the browser-URL doesn't change which could be a bit irritating for the users.

Well the url shows right under the picture.

Another thing is that some people push the backbutton in the browser instead of the back-link in the navigation. :)

Another question: Do you think you could create a mod that turns pictures to 90° to the left or to the right? Some people are uploading pictures which needs to be turned, so I don't need to turn my head =)

When you View someones album pics
You open a picture
When you click next
Instead of loading the whole page
It just loads the next pic.

trying to work this out but it doesn't look promising. I got the browser to log the moves but the picture doesn't change back when you go back.

Hi, great mod, but need one improvement. When you click on image (or next/prev links) everything works fine, but URL in address bar doesn't change, so if you press back (or forward), reload button (or F5) it reloads on first opened image. As I know you may change this behavior by adding URL change in your script.
If you can do it - it would be great.

Problem!

It was working great, until I tried to write a comment, and I noticed that the WYSIWYG editor buttons no longer worked. When I tried to add a link, I clicked the button, but it didn't respond. It didn't even affirm that I was hovering the "insert link" button.

When I turn plugin off, the editor begins to work again.

My browser is Firefox -- latest version.
