this morning i tried to visit this site but i had seen a site not avalilble message and also the site was slow
so just wondering if anyone had problem?

It looks like the server is getting hammered (happening at vB.com also). DDoS is a possibility.

hmm - visited VB com to see if its was same but its was loading fast for me
now this site is back to high speed

One name server was shown as "Lame" when I looked via DNS Tools earlier.Both vB.com and vB.org were unreachable for a long period from early AM UK time.

Yep, there were definitely issues about three hours ago.

I had some ppl ask me last night if the org was getting ddos'd
it wasn't loading for me, but seems to be fine now

I'm having that problem right now this morning. Its running so incredibly slow its not even funny and then sometimes it does not even want to show the thread I'm trying to look at, it just gives a site unavailable message.

The site has sped back up again. Fine now.

No idea what that means, but the site was really slow for about three hours.

its not slow once u on it - but getting that first conenction for me today,took a few mins to display the page.

Over on vb.com, they said it was a DDoS attack.

Those evil (insert cuss words here) :erm: :erm: so that explains why I had problems the other day like many of you! Well glad to see we are still going strong :D

I was going WTF?! I have NEVER seen vb.org down since I have been on here, slow yes but never that message :p

you're new here TLS... i've seen this site down for strange reasons many times in the last 7 years, and i can say that it was quick to see it back online... ThePlanet may be too big for the general world, but they are efficient in dealing with DDoS and other technical problems...
