Changing the header

Hi,

I'd like to add a separate part/table row right above my header/logo. In this part I'd like to put the login, remember me, register, notification etc. bits so they wouldn't be in my logo.

How can I do that?

Just one more question. How can I include the "remember me" part as well?

Can someone help me with this? I use the above code, but the remember me box won't appear.
