Great mod! I see on your screenshots that you also have the "promote/bookmarks" added to the top of each post. Can you possibly share with us (non-coders) in what section you would add that in VB4?

The only forum i own with the suite hasn't been upgraded to vB4.0 yet. so i wont be able to answer that question for another week yet. But its just a template edit so i dont see why it wouldn't work. Just a matter of figuring out where to apply this in those templates..

Okay

I got the 4.0 Suite, and atm there is only a "Share" feature on the Blog posts, not on the article posts..
And there are only 4 options, Digg, del.icio.us, StumbleUpon and Google.

I would like a Twitter and Facebook button as well, as well as this feature on the Articles.
BUt it dosent seem that this feature is possible yet, and I cant find someone saying that they will create one for theyr Bookmark function.

I just installed this mod on my 4.0 gold and it works really nice!!!

Thank you so much for this mod, i was so missing my Facebook and Twitter bookmarks, who cares about Google? ;)

One thing though. It tried to update my previous twitter twitt if I twit two of them.

So to clarify, when I go for a second twit it is always trying to update the first one as opposed to making it a new twitt.

I cannot recreate this error to trouble shoot your problem. I just tested this on my own forum and didn't experience this issue myself.

Had this setup on my old board sorta like this.

One thing though: That share service ( AddToAny (ttp://www.addtoany.com))and "AddThis" didn't work right for me.
Then I remembered I had an account with ShareThis (http://sharethis.com/), and the URL's worked correctly with their service.

I had this problem before. I think its something to do where the buttons placed, so it can read the headers correctly to be able to give the correct linkback URL.

Intresting im not having that problem at all. it quotes from whatever post i click the share from depending on the users postbit i click it from. i actually found it to be of more value placed in the postbit template.

Ive been working on this on and off so far im not having much luck as im not very versed in these new templates. It seems that there is a different template edit required for every different layout. so it may work on one page then is gone on another. It will require further investigation on my part. i do plug away at it now and then when i find a few spare minutes. ill post up a solution if i stumble on something.
