Bug: If you try to permanently delete a page, you get an SQL error because you have a space between the table prefix and the table name (bfeasypages).

Yes it displays. But check the lower left of the IE8 pane for the warning icon. Click on that icon and it will tell you what it's warning you about.

I use another mod to add tabs and link them to the pages generated by this mod and I need the tabs to highlight.

1. Can we have it so only certain usergroups can have access to the new pages we have created? I am looking to have some pages that paid members can upload stats to a database through, and therefore I only want a certain usergroup having access to the custom page I have created.

2. Is there a way we can have it so when you make a new page, it creates a new tab in your navigation bar? Essentially I want to create a home page for my forums with stat tables. So I want to make a custom page, and call it "HOME". Then that will be the home page of my site etc. And then the other tabs, or in this case other newly created pages, will link to "Team Stats", "Individual Stats".

This is exactly what I need for my site, but just a little bit more customization is needed. If you need to pm me, please do. I love this hack but just need to modify it a little for my needs/wants.

If your members are accessing the page from a link/tab in the navbar, they are never going to see that URL, just whatever title you gave to the page. Hardly an issue worth worrying about.

zbhadir, another minor bug to fix...

There are extraneous list elements at the top of my HTML page at http://forum.psychlinks.ca/pages.php?pageid=1 (see attachment below). I have confirmed that it happens both in Internet Explorer 8 and in Firefox 3.5x.

At the top of that page, I have an AdSense banner under the navbar, followed by a vBulletin notice to my members, as you can see in the attachment.

A "View Source" shows me this:

I can't figure out where those additional list markers are coming from, other than that I did not enter them in the HTML code that I added via the Admin CP panel.

With vbulletin becoming more and more seo friendly and most software being able to set your own kind of links, I'd like that for this product as well.

If it's impossible, or the author doesn't want to add that, so be it, it's still a great mod. But if he does, it's still a very nice feature in my opinion.

Hi cheers for the mod but for some reason it is not working 100% for me :( lol

if you have a look AT THIS PAGE (http://www.called2duty.com/pages.php?pageid=1) on my site you will see that it is making the page alright but the style is messing up!

Any idea what may be causing this please?

Ok after a little more investigation I found the problem :)

This mod will not display the style of the page if you have your css stored in the file system [ vb options >> Style and language settings >> Store CSS Stylesheets as Files? ]

The reason i had this set to "store in file system" was because of THIS MOD (http://www.vbulletin.org/forum/showthread.php?t=229608)

For now I am going to store my css in the database so I can use this mod :) but would be good if this issue could be sorted.

What you've entered is HTML, not PHP, so:

1. Delete it and go to the HTML page section => Add new page

2. Then remove the php and body tags, so you'll be left with just this:

Yes. That's an option in the Admin CP settings.

I disabled the extra tab in this mod and used the other one to add (and position) extra tabs.

Just make sure you're adding it as an HTML page, not a PHP page, and then add the code as you would with any HTML page.

Hell no. I don't do that and would not advise it.

You can still download version 1.35. That has some minor cosmetic bugs but works as it should.

That looks like a bug to me. It certainly renders the add-on effectively useless for me. That's why I reverted to 1.35.

That's my view too. If it's valid HTML (And I don't mean W3C here - just bug-free HTML), it should work. As I said, if that's not the case, the add-on has little or no utility for me.

I presumed the VB wrapper consisted of header/footer and basic body wrap if that makes sense.

It then utilises the css from within vb.

This hack I thought would then add code to a dynamically created page between standard <body> tags and as you said, be able to parse standard html.

Is it me or do you get the feeling this mod, actually converts the html to bbcode... just a thought

I have having some permission problems. Whenever more then one usergroup is added to the "groups that may view the page" is then doesn't allow anyone except the first usergroup. I have added the usergroups as stated below:

Groups may view the page
Enter 0 for all groups
Usage: 5|6|7

You know, what might be a whole lot simpler than HTML and PHP options is a BBCode option. That might resolve a lot of the issues you've had with HTML and this add-on.

No, that isn't the problem and it doesn.t fix the problem. See the link to the page I'm talking about above. Specifically, it doesn't process HTML list, a href, anchors, and paragraph tags correctly (maybe others too but those are the ones I'm noticing).

and change it to:

I was about to uninstall but decided to test usergroup permissions first.

Not sure if this will work for you but give it a try

Reinstall the mod and just disabled it but that might not install the Mysql table

so

Go to the product-bfeasypages-v1.3.5 XML edit it open it in word

You will see in the first top 3 lines
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="ISO-8859-1"?>
<product productid="bfeasypages" active="1">
<title>BF - Easy Pages</title>

Change it to

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="ISO-8859-1"?>

<product productid="bfeasypages2" active="1">
<title>BF - Easy Pages2</title>
Save it and reinstall the product once done disable the product and that will solve your database issue. I am sure some one else has an easy fix just need to wait :)

I've changed the language settings to resolve this issue on my end but you may want to concider fixing this in your code for future versions.
