When a members profile is displayed, this adds a new tab to the display - showing the reputation comments that the member has received.
ACP Options are provided to ;
1. Turn the display on/off.
2. Limit the display to certain usergroups.
3. Limit the number of comments shown.
4. Restrict the display of who gave comments (in addition to the viewers existing permission).
5. Will not display comments for threads the member does not have permission to view.
6. Provides a time limited ability to allow the deletion of comments by those who have permission.
The ACP options for this hack are in vBulletin Options > Reputation in Member Profile.
To install - unzip the XML file and import it into vbulletin via the ACP Product Manager.

Since this has its own page im wondering what the negative effects are if i was to crank the number up to around the last 50 reputation comments would have. i figure i may as well fill the page. Personally im not worried about resources as im dedicated with more resources then ill ever use or need. but still curious.

Just a suggestion for the next release (if you decide to add features): an option in the User CP giving members the ability to choose whether or not they want their reputation comments publicly displayed.

vBulletin already has that facility.

It would appear not :(
I have no idea what they have done to break it, I'll have a look when I can.

This product is not compatible with version 4.0.0 of vBulletin. (Compatible starting with 4.0.0 / Incompatible with 4.0.0 and greater)
same problem
*Sigh* Thats another bug in vbulletin.
As for the main issue - I'll uploading a new version for 4.0.1 shortly - unfortunately IB have really screwed up adding new tabs in vb 4.0.1 - I have worked around it, but the workaround will break when they fix the actual issues in the code.

To get the tiny images to show you will need to add Paul's CSS definitions to your stylesheet.
Add:
Code:
---------------
Code is only visible to licensed users, and only when logged into the forums.
---------------
To Styles and Templates > CSS > Additional.css.
Save. Reload your page.
Unless you are using css stored as files, they will be auto added to any style.
For anyone who uses that option, I will [at some point] supply a rollup css file.
The way vb4 keeps changing atm, its not worth doing something that gets broken by the next version.

Will this eventually work with css as file AND database?
Works well here - thankies!

The current vb4 css system means this cannot happen without me making extra files for people to upload. Im not going to be doing that while the system is constantly undergoing change.

Not valid xhtml 1.0 code in profile:
Code:
---------------
Code is only visible to licensed users, and only when logged into the forums.
---------------
document type does not allow element "div" here; missing one of "object", "applet", "map", "iframe", "button", "ins", "del" start-tag
Works perfectly here on VB 4.0.7.
Still not valid xhtml 1.0 code in v4.0.7:
Code:
---------------
Code is only visible to licensed users, and only when logged into the forums.
---------------
Weird validation errors are not a primary concern, esp since I have no idea what it means nor can see anything wrong with it.
If you have a specific fix for them - then by all means feel fee to share it, otherwise it seems to work fine and will remain as is.
Regardless of the above, there are a couple of other minor style issues which will be looked at in v4.0.8.
Valid xhtml 1.0 code in templates: memberinfo_block_reputation:
Code:
---------------
Code is only visible to licensed users, and only when logged into the forums.
---------------
And please fix not valid code in temlate memberinfo_block_infractions:
Code:
---------------
Code is only visible to licensed users, and only when logged into the forums.
---------------
replace:
Code:
---------------
Code is only visible to licensed users, and only when logged into the forums.
---------------
First of all I cannot touch the infractions code, thats a standard vb template, unrelated to this mod.
Also, this makes no sense to me at all ;
Code:
---------------
Code is only visible to licensed users, and only when logged into the forums.
---------------
Edit 1: In fact, those changes break the display, the headers no longer stand out. So it wont be fixed like that.
Edit 2: Changed as part of v4.0.8.

if i have a look into html source, then it is there. It seems that it just don't get activated
known problem?
/edit
found out that the problem is, that the class is not changing
if you directly call the reputation tab it should change from
<div class="view_section" id="view-reputation">
to
<div class="selected_view_section" id="view-reputation">
Re the & v & - yes it probably should, tho either is ok.
As to the other 'issue' - yep I've been meaning to fix that for a while. Guess its time I did.

There is no way to do that (with this mod) as its pointless - if thats all you want then just stick to the display in the usercp.

If you've installed this mod, uninstall it. Users can view their reputation comments by default with vbulletin in their usercp IF they are given permissions to view reputation comments in their respective usergroup permissions.

As with all of Paul M's hacks, this works well. However, there does not appear to be a way to unselect everyone from the rights to delete/see username, or only allow a superadminstrator such rights. Perhaps I'm just missing it.

The ACP options for this hack are in vBulletin Options > Reputation in Member Profile.

As per the main post ;
I think you misunderstood me, or perhaps I was not clear.
I know where the options for the hack are located. However, there does not appear to be a way to say NO ONE should be able to delete (or only superadministrators). The same for preventing anyone from seeing the feedback entry's username. I might be overlooking it, but pressing <ctrl-click> on the selected entry will clear it from the box, but it will not save that way. There is no 'NONE' choice, either.
I see - and yes, thats correct. I dont see any point in a no-one option.
At the very least the site administartors should have the power. Superadministrators are not a option in any standard permissions, they are just an ACP oddity.
If you really want a no-one option then simply ceate a dummy usergroup called no one, and only assign it the option(s).

I see your point of view. The flip side is not making so easy for people to make mistakes. Admins already have the power within the admin control panel whereupon it becomes a very conscious decision to delete feedback. Also, inline moderation would typically require an admin to reenter their password (presuming option is enabled), but not in this case.
Thank you for the suggestion regarding the dummy usergroup. This is a good option for the client assuming it becomes a requirement. I also discovered an easier method to make deletions harder via examining the code: Set the delete timeout option to zero. This removes the button (as opposed to allowing for an indefinite period for deletions).

Am I missing something? Premissions are set, but there is no tap showing on the profile. I am running vB 4.1.7 and someone above this post says it work on 4.1.7.
I have the following tab: Not sure if its because there are to many tabs or what??

I dont think there is a limit.
I presume they are mostly mods, perhaps one of them is breaking it.

Ok I figured it out. First I screwed up because I did not have Rep enabled under the vB Options==>User Rep. Then, I had to figure out where the star buttion was in vBulltin to approve or disapprove rep on users posts. Its on the bottom of the targets post. After giving my one other account negative rep, the rep tab showed up on the users profile.
Just an FYI for people who are still learning the small stuff on vB.
Thanks for the great mod! Works on vB 4.1.7.
Edit: If a user does not have any rep comments, the tab will not show in there profile.

I've had this mod installed since day 1 and love it.
However, users kept asking me to let them see who left reputation. No matter how I set options, only admins could see who left rep. I tried everything.
Eventually I just opened up the memberinfo_reputation_bit template and changed:
<vb:if condition="$vboptions['showuserraters']">
<a href="{vb:link member, {vb:raw reputation}, null, 'whoadded', 'username'}">{vb:raw reputation.username}</a>
<vb:else />
{vb:rawphrase n_a}
</vb:if>
to
<a href="{vb:link member, {vb:raw reputation}, null, 'whoadded', 'username'}">{vb:raw reputation.username}</a>

Wen the mods click to see the infraction thread dont show, give error link to contact administrator.
Only admin is set to delete, but why mods see the option to go the the thread discussion infraction and then give error?
Its a Bug.
obs: The mods have permission to go to the thread discussion, but the link in this plugin dont go.

Not really sure what you are talking about, this modification has nothing to do with infractions.
