This is an update to ERICGTR (http://www.vbulletin.org/forum/member.php?u=34182) so simple flashing PM notification.

PLEASE CLICK INSTALL (http://www.vbulletin.org/forum/vborg_miscactions.php?do=installhack&threadid=233218)

Installation is easy.
One template edit.
One image to upload.

First Grab the image, and upload via FTP to yourwebsite.com/forum/images

Remember the path !

Goto: admincp>styles and Templates>yourstyle>header

find:

Remember to make sure image attributes width and height match the image ;)

Hi I've installed this and works great only issue I have is it's moved the drop down menu for Notifications to the left.. any ideas?

I think this must be a bug in 4.0.1 as this also happens on showthread on other dhtml menu items, such as mod tools, rate thread etc.

I have totally removed this hack, rebuilt cache, and the issue persists. I am sure it isnt a fault of this mod.

Quick request/question...

There used to be a mod that makes the words "Notifications" tab in 3.8 flash on and off when you had a notification.

Could you PLEASE integrate that into your mod? When someone gets a notification their tab flashes on and off and maybe a custom color for the notify to be chosen from admincp??

It is entirely possible to modify the Notifications text using css and if conditionals. Will have a look when i get time.

Great mod here and installed, but I have one small issue that I need help with here.

I have facebook Connect and when there is a private message the Red Envelope is right uder the Facebook icon, so my question is, is there a way to have the PM envelope pushed over more to the left, and if so how can I make this happen.
