Now this isn't going to help my SEO at all, i have VBSEO installed and originally thought it was a problem with that but when i disabled vbseo and meta tags stayed the same
I've tried disabling all products i have installed, tried switching back to the default template & also reverted all file edits i'd done previously but the meta tags stay the same
I Tried getting help fro VBSEO Technical support and they basically said the can't help as the problem occurs when vbseo is disabled so it's not their responsibility
Hello ,
vBSEO was enabled from vBSEO Control Panel . I disabled vBSEO and all your links started to look and work like standard vBulletin urls.
Again those meta tags still exit.
It can be a vBulletin feature or a file edit you did. But i am not sure if we can help any further. vBSEO ticket system is for vBSEO technical assistance.
I just re enabled vBSEO to make sure your links work correct.
I thought i'd get more support having paid $149 for their product that should really be over writing any other meta tag settings anyway but we learn by our mistakes.....
Can anyone help me?
