only allowing threadstarer & admins to view threads

i've got a project startet where i only what the threadstarter and admins to view the threads in some for the forums & it's subfourms. i've been looking through showforum.php but can't seem to find out where to start, can anyone help me with some directions :confused:

Admin Control Panel -> Usergroups and Permissions -> Click on "Modify Forums" -> Click on "Registered" under the forum you want to modify (the parent as permissions cascade down) -> Set "Can View Other's Threads" to NO.

:D , and i thought this would be difficult, yet again vbulletin proves itself as a very superior system. i feel in debt to the developers, thanx :D
