signature always on, always off, etc.

My users want the ability to turn their sigs on or off in their user CP. I search pretty thoroughly and I couldn't find anything that actually gave the poster the option, I only found "hacks" that did it globally, but not for each user.

I was then thinking it might be cool if it was possible to make it so that it only showed each persons sig, once per thread.

Can anybody help me with this? This would be a really cool feature. If I somehow missed it in my search through these forums, please post a link to it.

If you have a sig entered, the box will be checked; otherwise it won't.

To change that behavior (and add the once a thread thing), you'll need to post a request in the hacks forum.... or I'll just move it there now.
