In order to download attatchments/hacks on this forum you need to have your licence information entered into your profile. Without that you can't download them.

to mark yourself as a licensed customer, please use this form (http://www.vbulletin.com/members/vbulletin.org.php).

Q. If you register / or are registered over at VBulletin.com - are you automatically registered at VBulleting.org or do we need to RE-enter our liscence info??

I'm registered here, I've confirmed my account, I've posted a few messages in the Site Feedback forum. I can modify my profile and options. My license info is enterred correctly. When I click on the form link provided by Sinecure above, I see a form that already has my name in it.

So why am I unable to start new threads in four of the forums in the Code Hacks category, including Full Releases, Requests, and the two forums after them?

I re-registered and as soon as I posted 1 thing, I had lots of other posts as well... The posts from the releases were carried to this site.

Unlucky me missed the part about the same username :stupid:

Ok, no big deal, me thinks. I've read some stuff at least, and happily entered my current username in the license thing. But still nada on the downloading thing

Now, where or who do I turn to?

Go to this (http://www.vbulletin.com/members/vbulletin.org.php) page and enter your customer number and Password. After you have entered it correctly you will be taken to a page where you can enter the username that you user on this board, which is oO Phantom Oo . If your problem persists email Firefly.

Knup, oO Phantom Oo, netleader, Spawn, wass and anyone else that seems to have a problem logging into the members area please email licenses@vbulletin.com to get this matter figured out.

State that you are having a problem logging in and they will correct the problem.

Please note you need to enter your vBulletin customer number and password, not the username and password on this forum.

Spawn if you were a paying customer you would realize the question you just asked lets everyone know you never purchased the software.

Exactly, I don't mean to be snappy, but I have no tolerance for pirates. There is no reason you should be here unless you are a vBulletin owner - and if you are without license details, you are then a pirate. vBulletin is a commerical script and when you get a pirated copy, you are stealing money from the hard-working developers.

I am not a pirate.... not stealing anything here....

I am mod @ a vbulletin board and we are building a new board, cause we first used ubb... so now with vbulletin we need hacks for the board..... The admins asked us to search for hacks for vbulletin.... so i thought that i could find them here.... i am sorry if i did something wrong here...really didn't wanted people to be get upset about anything......

Then tell the owner of the board to enter your username in the form we mentioned so you can download hacks.

I was wondering... having a licensed member account doesn't it give you access to almost everything on both here and official vB forum? Because when I click on some threads it gives me the message "You are not able to access this thread for the following reasons". I check below to see if I'm logged in and I am, I check for my name in the form and it's in there.... Any info regarding this? thanks.

Make sure you're not following a link to vBulletin.COM.
If you are, change it to vBulletin.ORG.

Dark Blaze
30 Nov 2001, 21:48
So you think that the users that post those links confuse the *.com with *.org? Because I click on the links I find and interest me on these forums.

Chen
30 Nov 2001, 21:52
Links that lead to .COM are probably left overs from the time these forums were there.

Dark Blaze

oh I see...

Thank you for the info and the quick reply :)
