Anyone else experiencing that vbulletin.org is quite alot slower than vbulletin.com?

probably the graphics i.e. header http://www.vbulletin.org/layout/header.gif is 49kb itself :eek:

If you switch to the normal vBulletin style and get rid of the "unnecessary fluff" (IMO), the forum works just as fast and as well as any other.

I prefer the 'cleaner' and thus faster style of vulletin.com. Even though vbulletin.org looks great :)

Both vbulletin.com and vbulletin.org are hosted on the same two servers, so the speed should basically be the same... although those on dialup modems will probably see slower access on this site because there are some larger images here.

The dark style is slower over my cable modem and the T1 at work. I suspect there may be excessive tables that causes it but I haven't looked at the HTML to verify that. Use the purple and you will be find.

When I first registered here, things were extremely slow - I simply gave up attemping to figure out what this whole thing was about. Now, things are pretty fast.
