I want to redo my site slightly, and so am looking for a site with some cool graphic tutorials so I can have a bash at designing a cool enough splash page + nav etc...

Does anyone know any tutorial sites that offer more than the standard tutorials all sites seem to have? I mean one on how to do something similar to these cool backgrounds you see on sites around the place :)
