I have just installed a new hack by wluke:
http://www.vbulletin.org/forum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=33590

This allows you to have a toolbar at the bottom of your screen, that lists the latest 10 threads at the forum, with links to them.
It refreshes every 180 seconds (3 minutes) or you can re-load it yourselves.

End User Installation
To install the ticker on your Windows 98 or higher computer (also works on Windows 95 with IE5+ installed) follow these instructions.

Right-click on your Taskbar and go to toolbars->new toolbar
Type "http://www.vbulletin.org/forum/ticker.php" without the quotes in the location box
Click OK

Have fun.

That's cool looking. Expecially in Windows XP. Thank you wluke for making the hack, and to FireFly for making it available to us here.

Nice.

It's cool... but small :(

One problem: the link to the on.gif is incorrect, it searches at vbulletin.org/images/on.gif but the pic is at vbulletin.org/forum/images/on.gif...

Yeah. It's a great hack but the .gif would be nice to let it stand out a bit.

Maybe I'm dense, but I can't find an option for 'new toolbar' in IE 6 with Win XP. I can customize the toolbars, but it only allows preset bars.

D'OH! I was right-clicking on the IE taskbar. I didn't realize this meant the Wondows taskbar. Thanks! :stupid:
