Hi guys,

I'm uploading the upgraded file as we speak, so if you see some database errors or parse errors, wait a minute and refresh. If it doesn't go away it's probably a problem so post it here and I will take a look.
Edit: the upload is complete, so if you do get errors report them as soon as possible.

Thanks for bearing with us and sorry about the inconvenience. :)

Have to jump in here :)
I have included quite a lot of hacks from vb.org in my forum last week (first time hacker), and I am rather frustrated that there is another vBulletin update so soon after 2.2.4.

My question now is: how do you guys do an upgrade? Do you compare the new files with your hacked ones? How do you identify new code? How do you tell the difference between you hacked code and newly inserted one from the update?

Thanks for a basic explanation :)

I believe Chen uses Araxis Merge, but you an get a free trial of Beyond Compare @ http://scootersoftware.com (I believe Araxis Merge is supposed to be better than Beyond Compare, but it may be a little pricey for those who don't have tons of hacks.)

what are the differences between 2.0.0 and 2.2.5?
Is it worth the upgrade?

OMG... 2.0.0 ? Get 2.2.5 immediatley. 2.2.5 is MUCH MORE reliable and has many security fixes. Get it now.
