question about a vb hack

is there a hack for the search feature that will add a groupby clause for the threads subjects so now matter how many posts were made to a thread it will only show once if any of its posts match the criteria supplied?

You don't need a hack for this. vBulletin gives you two display options for the results: list of threads or list posts.

neither of those accomplish what i was intending, also what about the get new posts?
