it makes it so when there is no userid for a thread it gives you no link to the profile... its linked to something like a second username....

I see what you mean... interesting idea... the problem is that it looks like each thread in the forum display is one query - so if you have 20 threads showing, that is 20 extra queries. Isn't that correct?

If I'm not mistaken can't you just put <br>($bbuserinfo[usertitle]) in that template and it has the same title effect.

Sheesh...I think you guys were being a bit rough. You were ALL newbies to this at one point. Have you become so high and mighty that you've forgotton what it was like to be a beginner?
