Idiot Ban

This is a pretty simple, yet pretty funny hack. Most everyone has received a link in their email, posted in a forum, or wherever that will redirect you to a site with a flash image singing "You are an idiot. Ha ha ha ha ha". This window is usually very annoying and very hard to close since it multiplies itself. Well with this hack, problem users can be "banned" and automatically redirected to this page. In most cases simply banning a problem member is enough, but every once in a while you come across those users that just don't give up and constantly try to annoy you. Well with this hack you can at least annoy them a little as well. I finally decided to make this for my own forums, so I thought I'd go ahead and share it here as well. ;)

Just for anyone who isn't familiar with the site, here is a link to it. Be warned that you will most likely have to use ctrl+alt+delete to end your browser, so be sure you don't have anything important open before clicking on this link!

Note: I'm not sure how long that site will stay around. If it ever changes though it's pretty easy to modify the URL in the code. ;)

I just uploaded instructions for RC2... I'm still running Beta 7 and made instructions based on that and didn't realize the comment would be different in newer versions. ;)

Hahaha! I actually saved that page a long time ago and put it on my server. Anytime I saw an idiot who desperately needed it, I'd post the link for the idiot to click on. But this is even better! :D My version has two js files and two html files, plus the swf, though.

It took me exacly 2 seconds to close the window. (taskbar > right click on window > select Close)
Then the anti popup take care of the rest... :p

It's not a 'trojan' in the true sense, more up-to-date virus scanners simply identify the 'auto-repeating' JS and try to block it. It is completely harmless, save the frustration of getting out of it for some poor n00b. :D
