View Full Version : Automatic Thread Redirect Removal
If you'd like to quickly automatically remove those annoying redirects after a certain period of time, see the text file attached. Quite simple. Please reply with questions or suggestions.
(Please click install...I'm just a curious anal-retentive idiot...but please?)

Nice one. Too bad I already wrote that myself ;)
Suggestion: Add a setting (Forum Display Options), so the timeout after which redirects will be removed could be easily changed through ACP.

I wanted to keep it as simple as possible. Anyone else up for the idea?

I've already implemented this myself, but yes it is a useful feature.
Thanks for sharing.. :)
Installed!
Wondering if this can be done to locked threads as well, that is, move threads that have been locked for more than a certain period to a specific forum.

I would like to install this... it seems like it should work the same in 3.0.3 as in 3.0.1. Anyone willing to confirm this for me? I'd be most grateful.
Or perhaps there is a newer version of the hack that I just have not yet found?
Thanks!

bump. does not work with 3.0.6 I've found. Installs just fine, doesn't remove the redirects.. anybody want to write a fix?

Works fine for me. Are the redirects you're trying to remove less than a week old? If you want to change the maximum age of a redirect, see line 3 in the installation

ok, misunderstood the instructions, sorry.
I figured that number was how often the script runs and removes them. It works now
Thanks!
