This Hack has been released as a final Version. Please check the new thread:
http://www.vbulletin.org/forum/showthread.php?t=80684
very nice, i took this and the other ts hack and cobbled them together in some ways to give myself a slightly different look, but it is cool. I've tested both of them now and will wait to see which one my clan members prefer, lol
Thanks again

Yea looks pretty cool im be installing this tonight :)
one thing i have noticed however, is that if someone has a space in their names on ts, it only displays their first name, is there any way to work around this?
After I installed all and trying to open forum I am getting a blank screen. I am sure there must be something wrong with my connection. Take a look here:
// **** settings - to be edited before first use ****
var $serverURL = 81.102.223.59; // will be used for the connect link, don't use localhost here
var $serverAddress = 81.102.223.59; // can be ip address or url
var $serverQueryPort = 51234; // default 51234, must be accessible and usable. check server.ini
var $serverUDPPort = 8767; // default 8767
//var $serverUDPPort = 8767; // default
// **** end of settings ****
The following link is working fine: teamspeak://81.102.223.59/?channel=The Phoenix Connections?password=Spiritual

Are you getting a PHP Error?
Only just saw this great mod! Thanks for sharing :)
Are you getting a PHP Error?
No, no .php errors. That is really strange!

Are you using multiple Styles? Is the template modification been done in one template or a Master/All?
Are you using multiple Styles? Is the template modification been done in one template or a Master/All?
Yes, I am using multiple Styles: www.spiritual-connections.com and I just made the modification in the style that I am using at the moment which mean it is in the default style.
That is really weird for me because I can't find the mistake and I am sure that I did something wrong.

I tried to intergrate this into CMPS (Vbadvanced) I know this isn't the right forum but you did design this hack and I was hoping you could help me get this to work on the index page of CMPS. I currently have it working on my forum home.
I got the block installed and the info is in it for the TS but now I can't get it to pull the user names on TS. Any help would do thanks. (Oh BTW I tried tio include the Ts2info and TSHome in the main root but still nogo :( )

I'm pretty sure there is a missing template. Otherwise you would get PHP Errors.

Seems to be wrong handling in the ts2info.php, I'll fix it within the next release.

A little late - but it works fine on linux...
this does not support names in TS with spaces in... =/
Looks nice.... only if my users used TeamSpeak.

Got a new bug...
May not be with the code though - it may be Teamspeak.
Here's what happened - I had this implemented on both the forumhome and the VBIndex page. It worked great for a few days - then one day neither page would show anymore. The rest of the site was fine.
I removed the .php edits to index.php and forum.php (my vbindex and forumhome respectively) and they pulled up fine afterwards.
I'm guessing that it was unable to contact the TS server or got hung up somehow (the TS server was pretty maxed on bandwidth). Either way, I would definitely prefer a blank TeamSpeak WOL over a blank page just sitting there trying to load....
Figured it out, my host firewall blocked it because it's a bit dodgy. And it increased the server load for the whole server by 350%

Hi
I had the same problem as someone above.
After Installing the hack I simply got a blank page.
I did all instructions in the install file (was not much so there is no mistake!) and the server settings are ok as well.
There is only one template created is that right?
Any help?

Great idea for a hack, before i install it id like to know if theres a way to isolate the users in a single channel on a large TS server.
This would be really handy.

I tried this one because i couldnt get the one with the cronjob to work
looks like this one wont work either - my host does not allow incoming connections on UDP 8767 (which explains the blank pages I suppose - still dont know why the script didn't exit and return a failure message though?

ok now i'm also getting the blank page , does the template have to be anywhere specific within the style ?
Reece D
12 Nov 2004, 13:22
is it because you need to get the ts_loggedin template under the Forum Home Templates header ?? If so how do you do that ?
Spydertech

I also used this hack - until it caused the blank page problem...
It worked fine for several days - then on one rather busy TeamSpeak night - it locked up the home page and the index page. The only conclusion I came to is that it deosn't "error out" and just locks up the page trying to get the inof it needs from the TS server.
Oh well, and I relly liked the idea of real time information....

My index isnt loading on my forum now after the install.

Can anyone tell me why ?
Iv removed the editing of the index.php till someone can help me with the issue.

If the forum is not loading that your TS Server is not running or you have entered wrong IP/Port
Hi Phalynx
Any plans to code block support for use with vbadvanced CMPS?
For instance this site has a TS block hack ( PHP Nuke), anyone capable of achieving this kind of result but for VB advanced CMPS portal?
Phalynx
22 Mar 2005, 17:08
I've running it on vB Advanced (old CMPS), http://www.sto-clan.de, just take care to the rights side.
Ah sorry I missed out an attachment on my previous post.
What I meant was more along the lines the coder did with the php nuke version , see attached
Allows you to see how many in each channel and also to just click on it and immediately be connected to the channel
Well we have this installed now but it shows zero users all the time irrelevant of how many people are on it.
Example here
http://www.global-army.com/forum/
Anyone else have this problem? If you click on the link it logs you directly into Team Speak so I know the IP /port etc are correct but it wont' show the users.
Anybody know why? We run on a Windows box.
Here's how the tstinfo relevant part is configured.
// **** settings - to be edited before first use ****
var $serverURL = "195.149.21.137"; // will be used for the connect link, don't use localhost here
var $serverAddress = "195.149.21.137"; // can be ip address or url
var $serverQueryPort = 51234; // default 51234, must be accessible and usable. check server.ini
var $serverUDPPort = 8767; // default 8767
// **** end of settings ****

Yes - the TS server was completely full - and too busy to respond. But it locking the page and not allowing it to load was just not going to work for the site...
Is there a way to have this error out and just show "Server Busy" or Offline?
Arial - you have to be sure BOTH ports are forwarded to your server. They may not be by default. Being able to log in is not an indication that the query port is available.

Update to 1.0.1b:
Updated the Hack to avoid blank pages and also pages that are not loading.
How to update?
Replace the files:
- ts2home.php
- ts2info.php
...and set your IP/Port/QueryPort in ts2info.php.
Add a new GLOBAL Phrase:
ts_offline=Server is offline
Thats it!
New users should read the attached ts2online_hack_install_101b.txt
Good job with the update Phalynx..
The problem with the blank pages has been corrected, although I still can't seem to get the page to display anything other than the server is offline..
I've checked w/telnet to make sure I've got the Query port correct... I've got the server address in both times at the top of the config file correct, along w/the channel port.. no go.. Odd.....

Are you driving your TS on a Windows Machine?
Are you driving your TS on a Windows Machine?
Yes I am.. I've got it running on Win2kServer..
Phalynx
20 Apr 2005, 09:21
That would explain a lot, because you are not only with Windows, where this Hack does not work. So I assume that the used library to query TS does not work with Windows.
I have to get it with another library running, an update should be done in the next few weeks.

The odd thing about that is that I am running a logging app on the site and it is seeing the requests passing from the web server, to the ts machine, and I'm getting data back.. I take it the portion that doesn't work with win machines is the answer from the ts server, and not the request?
Phalynx
20 Apr 2005, 09:56
Should be the answer, but maybe the Win32-Version of the TS server is giving another output then the *nix-Version. I'll take a look into it.
