Zachery, a lot of my options redirect to a uttstore.php file (which obviously doesn't exist) instead of ushop.php - any ideas on how to resolve this?

Prank: do a find and replace in your templates for "uttstore.php" and replace with "uShop.php" whether you do the replace part manually or let vB3 handle it is upto you.

Is it just me or does the points system have a cache problem? I mean, say I deposit some points, then I go to another page -- the points still show up as if nothing was deposited (for a while...it does not occur immediately, I mean). However, the bank still has the points. If you deposit more points, you CAN get negative points (assuming you've deposited more than you have).

If you understood that (it was kind of hard to word), do you have such a problem?

Also, if you happen to get negative points as an admin, the admin donate function does not work. That is annoying. (It's not an issue for me but it's still annoying.)

Just upload the files on the upload directory as they are on their directories(admincp,images ect), and ushop.php goes on the main directory.

Is the custom avatar not in the file anymore? I don't have it as my options and I didn't upload a php file for it. I do not allow users to have custom avatars so I would like this feature. Is there a way for me to add this to my forum? I need the php file for it, so basically what I'm asking is, can I have it please :D

regarding your first question, the custom avatar option seems to have been left out of the hack

and regarding your second question, try going into each of your forums in the forum manager, edit settings and then click save, then post and tell me if you points increase or not.

See how the tables are all screwy in alignment? I want to change the text to fix that - where do I go to do that? Also, it shows everything as being out of stock - why is that? I am totally table illiterate, but I would love to set up that page to have the different options on top of eachother rather than side by side - make them wider and have the pictures show up because I'd like to make some custom pictures. My friend has what I'm talking about on her board so I attached a screencap. I'm sorry, I understand if you don't consider this part of the hack, but if anyone knows where I actually GO I can at least maybe figure it out. My friend uses 2.3.0, so she wouldn't know about this otherwise I'd just ask her.

With the quantity, is there a way to have unlimited quantity, or how to add more - that automatically readds after two weeks, but it shows me as being out of stock now - why?

Another thing, I'd LOVE that buy custom avatar script. I know I'm annoying about it but my members already want customs and I have made and uploaded a ton for them but I'd like this to be something they can buy.

Also, the Recent Purchases link is out of alignment. I think that if I change my tables it will solve this, but if not, how?

OK I've had this running fine pretty much since its release. I've just got a user having bank problems though. Now the rest of us can use the bank just fine but whenever this user tries to access the bank they get this error;

Just go to your admin cp then on the uTT Store Hack section go to utt store settings, just fix the actions per row option.

You can set it in the options part of the admincp. Go to utt store manager and just edit each item from there. It allows you to choose what usergroups can do each action. That's the only way I know how to do it.

Kalipo did you try running the installer again just to be sure? Like, run it and run it as an upgrade, not a new installation. It may be that you ran it fully but something didn't install properly - maybe your connection went wonky without your realizing it ^_^ Plus, did you delete the php file off your server after you installed like it says to?

I got everthing working, EXCEPT when a user posts a new thread, it does not give them the points. It only gives them points when someone looks at their thread. What could be wrong?

Did you edit every forum? Like, you don't have to make any actual edits, but you have to go into each forum in forum manager and then scroll to the bottom and hit update. I had that same problem. Also, there are settings in each forum saying how many times you want to multiply your original setting of points for each action. By default it should be set to 1 for threads, 1 for posts, and 1 for thread views. (like, say you set in the manager 4 points for each post - if you set the post setting to 2 in any particular forum, everytime a person posts they'd get 8) You probably know what I meant but sometimes I confuse myself!

But yeah, if you haven't done that try that because I had that problem :)

Im getting the "No actions found" as well :( Ive quickly read through this thread, yet I couldnt solve my problem.. Any ideas why that would happen? And should it be a file edit problem, which file could it be thats causing this? Ive been carefull not to mess up while editing, but you never know..

Any other suggestions are wellcome as well!

That seems needlessly vague to me. If you dont want a non-logged in user to see the shop, it should at least say "Please log in"

I'm having a bit of trouble. When my users go to the store, it says No actions found... and I had fixed that. But when I go to the store it shows everything. Ermm... what shall I do? He logged off and opened 10 browser windows and then used some sort of program to refresh each window over and over again.

Over a period of time he managed to guest-view his own thread 90,000 times and got himself tons and tons of points.

The psuedo-solution to this problem would be to add "&& $bbuserinfo[userid] > 0" in the showthread.php conditional, but this would disable points for all guest views and would encourage members to create duplicate registered accounts to exploit this.

A better solution would be to have some sort of time limit, so they can only get so many views per minute or something.

I suggest using the points via viewing thread like the Lesane's Store, e.g: 10$ for 100 views, 100$ for 1000 views and so one. that would reduct the cheating.

There is a bug with the musername stuff. colored usernames do not show up properly in the "Whats Going On?" bar and also the "Who's Online" page because the custom utt database variables are not passed into the fetch_musername function.

Its not that dreamweaver in it self is bad, but most people do what dreamweaver tells them, so when they save files, it prefixes requires includes and some other php functions with a full path. :)

Set this to the name of the table the points field is in. This table must be in the $bbuserinfo/$post/$userinfo arrays to display properly! (i.e. user or userfield tables)

The entire board shuts down when this happens. Also what does this file do? Do I need to edit it? Because none of the board features work as far as getting a custom color, bold, glow, italic? All this seems to do is make it so members have a bank lol. But nothing to use the money for.

your board is dependant on that file. it's as important as global.php

I was doing it right but for some reason dreamweaver doesn't like to be used for the global or functions files. textpad was no better and in the end I did it in notepad.

This is caused by 3 files. includes folder edits and the showthread.php, and also the includes/functions.showthread. Did you edit these files at all?

Finally ... after a whole night with no sleep. I have it working ~ so today I am happy

- all I need to do is work out how to get a log in screen instead of "no actions" message for non logged in users on the drop down menu.

EDIT: Just noticed that on the vbadvanced main page the drop down isn't showing the full menu either and stops at 'Actions'

Has anyone had any problems with the thief function? When I installed the hack it worked perfectly and no one had any issues. Then, all of the sudden, it started getting a database error (only the thief function). Strangely, when uploading the file again (the action.thief.php one or whatever it is called), the thief function worked one time. zNow I get the database errors all over again.

The question is what could be causing this problem? I'm positive that it's not a hack since I haven't installed any...it just seems weird.

I've found a serious bug in the bank action. When you deposit less than .01 (.009 for example) it resets your bank ammount to zero! (N; in the database).

I'm not sure how to fix this but for now I just added this to the bank sanity check:

Its not out of stock, they just dont have enough money, it was a template conditional i forgot to add another clause too

Just find the words out of stock and remove them

You *may* need to edit what usergroups can access it. I know that's one cause of that error.

I'm running VB 3.0.1 (I did a manual install of this, not the HTL thing) and I'm also getting the "No actions found..." message. People can earn points... but anything having to do with the ushop.php file returns that error.

(and yes, I've double checked... all of the edits are done and nothing is erroring out)

The uShop file is tripping on both places in which it is possible for the "No actions found..." response to be given. (one having to do with the $storeactions variable being empty or unset, and the other being no access to any of the available actions... when it is set up properly anyway)

can someone help? :(
