That's not possible, regardless of whether he has posted or not he may or may not be a licensed customer and that username belongs to him :)

Actually I'm pretty sure the site admins CAN check to see if he's a licenced vBulletin user or not since we all had to validate our licences before posting here, IIRC.

But there *IS* a registered "Snake" at vbulletin.com - so you probably should give up on that username.

Well even if the user is showing up as unlicensed, there is nothing to stop him from wanting to come back and perhaps renew his license one day. You should try emailing the user to see if he'll give you permission. Otherwise, I sincerely doubt you'll get it changed to that I'm afraid :)
