I am curious if anybody knows of a script that I can buy or find free that will alow better logging of visitors to my sites. My primary interest is the search terms that people use to find my sites as well as the search engine they used but also the refering URL...

Here is extremely powerful service but you need to pay them on an on-going basis... it gives a genreal idea of what I am after however...

Many of my sites are on Unix servers so I may already have some of this info logged but I just don't care for the default web stats program that comes with cpannel...

How do you all track your visitors?

Oh yea... the other thing that is critical for me is any 404 errors and where they are originating if possible...

EDIT: I found my answer...

http://awstats.sourceforge.net/

I just need some time to get it installed...

The best stats program I have used to data is Urchin - it was installed server-side so I have no idea how the average-user goes about getting it :)
