Black/Dark Red Button Set

This set is pretty nice, but I noticed some errors in it. One is that the filename "pm_folder.gif" should be renamed to "pm_folders.gif".

The other errors involve a discrepancy between the pointing of the arrows in this button set versus the vBulletin default button set. In the files "sortasc.gif" and "sortdesc.gif", they are pointing opposite of the vBulletin default, and the filenames could be swapped to fix it. Also, "firstnew.gif" points to the right when in vBulletin default it points downwards. This can be corrected by copying "down.gif" and cloning it as "firstnew.gif".

I ended up using a combination of this set and the default vBulletin buttons together on my forum (http://www.dionysians.org/forum/).

Am I missing something, or are there almost no VB3 buttons out there? I don't get it...

I've seen a few, most don't like the new GDK for some reason.

i'm currently working on a set of black/red buttons that also have the matte set as black (so that crappy white background is GONE from icons pasted on a black background.)

cheers to whoever came up with the original black/red button set, as I'm using some of those as well.

here's my site if you want to see how it's coming along:

Very nice! How soon do you think it'll be before you can share a set with us?

I am pretty much a n00b. I am getting the hang of this fairly quickly... I have installed numerous hacks/Mods and learning fast. If I were to use these buttons, who would I install them?

thanks, i appreciate all the feedback.

you know, i'm not sure if it would even be kosher to provide the button set....?

I'm using the Black Red button set provided by whoever runs 'The Inferno' and then I used the Black buttons set (downloadable somewhere on here) and then took the rest of the graphics and changed the matte to black.

If it's the theme/style you're wanting, I'll have to look into that. My style is hacked just a bit, or at least the header is hacked. Let me mess around around a bit and get back to you.

If someone could tell me what the policy is on upping a button collection that's been added on to?

wow, is there a way to download a theme without grabbing all the additional templates (like all my vbookie, uShop, and other custom items?)

I wish I would have had these back in the day when VB 3.0.0 RC4 first came out. I had an old red forum style that would have went great with it.

Needs a "reply_small.gif" and "forward.gif" button.

These were made for vBulletin 2 so don't expect any vB3 buttons in there. hence why some will be missing if you try to use them on newer versions.
