I want to change my postbit, but I don't have any template that refers to a post bit.

Anything in the 'postbit' template group edits that.

I'm sorry, I don't understand what you just said. I'm saying I can;t find any template named postbit to change. thanks!

It's there. Go to Admin CP - Templates - Modify - Click Show All - Scroll down to P - Scroll to the 'postbit' group - Select postbit template.

It's also in alphabetical order, so you'd just need to scroll down to 'P' to find it. :)
