++ What does this hack do
All this hack do is opening a link wich is made using the forum manager open in a new window. This is done to prevent your users being 'kicked' of your own forum.

Super neato! This should be a standard feature.

And what if it's a link to a page on your own site?

Maybe a checkbox to control weather or not a new window will be used on the link.

You might want to make sure that the drop downs in the navbar still work when opening up a link in a new window. They didn't work for me when first going into the new window. ;)

an acp checkbox?

Couldnt it be coded to only open in a new window if the link is outside the originating domain?

Or user preferance to use it or not.
