Shouldn't this be down in the lounge?

But I've been with 3 different hosting companies and the last one being site5.com (http://www.site5.com/affiliates/idevaffiliate.php?id=447). I got myself a reseller package since I wanted to give some sponsors of my site space to host, and for future plans.

I have yet to run across any problems with them and have always recieved a reply to my emails with in 30 minutes. Most the time around 10.

Reseller account is one that lets you sell hosting for the hosting company. Basically it gives you access to lower priced hosting so you can "resell" it to others at a profit. And allows you to basically be a sales agent for the company.

Since I posted back in July, my expierences with Site5.com have been pretty decent.

I've had maybe 2 periods of downtime that lasted for more then an less then 3 hours, once a network failure and the other a hardware failure.

They've been very responsive to my tech requests. Being on a reseller's package, I have the option of reselling space, but I dont. It gives me more flexibility in what I want to do and to host various websites. This will also put me on a server that does not have as many shared accounts as being on a shared server (the 6.95/mo specials, etc.) where you can get quite a bit of slowdown if what ever company you're with oversells.

The few times i've noticed slowdown, i've emailed then and it was taken care of rather quickly.

I would give Site5.com an AAA rating.

i personally suggest A Small Orange.
ASO is for small websites, I cancelled my contract with them because their service was terrible and my tickets were replied with nonsense information.

Then, I moved to LiquidWeb, a dedicated server, of course, it was a 180 degree turn.

PS: This happened to me because my site was too big, and their service was not up to the requirements they offered. Apache was always down, rebooting services and stuff. I have logs from SiteUptime.com
