Admin corruption. please help

What do I do?

I was the admin of my forum for the longest time. I decided to transition the position to someone else, but wanted to do so with certain criteria.

I wanted to remain on as an inactive admin so that I could make sure things were going smoothly etc etc.

Well, 2 months into my "retirement" I was not only taken off the admin list, but out of the mod forum as well.

Is there anything I can do about this or am I Sh*t out of luck?

I have gotten permission for a mutiny from the site owner, but that is not the route I want to go.

I would like to get back in quietly and without much disturbance on the forum.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

if you can get in via ftp download config.php and add your user id to the super administrators then upload it again and you may wanna add your user id to undeletable users too :) hope this helps you

As An-net said, but in a more polite manner. If you don't have access to the files or database, there is really nothing you can do but try to negotiate with the admin..

You say you have permission for a 'mutiny' from the site owner? Why not ask the owner for the FTP details with permission to delete the current admin?

Agreed. If the site admin says it's ok, he should be able to get access to the AdmiNCP or at least the DB to re-add you.
