For vBulletin 4.1.0 Onwards
Versions Attached 4107: vBulletin 4.1.0 to 4.1.12 4200: vBulletin 4.2.0 (+) This modification is not available for vBulletin 4.0.x Please remember to click Mark as Installed if you use this modification. Please fee free to nominate this modification for the MOTM, and/or use the donate link provided (Support Developer). This is something we have been using for the last few years on Cable Forum, it displays a list of reported posts and reported private messages - for both staff and members to see. The list shows ; Reported Date/Time Reporter (Staff Only) Thread Title Post Number Actioned Date/Time Moderator Who Actioned. Warning: For this system to work you must have vbulletin set-up to create a new thread for each report. Installing this will disable the e-mail reporting, so until you have a report forum set, reporting will be disabled. On the reported posts page members can click on the Actioned Moderator name to see any comment left by the moderator. A report is considered as actioned by the first staff member to reply in the report thread. The comments are read from that first post (by default it reads anything inside quote tags). Staff can click on the reporter to be taken directly to the report thread. Staff Usergroups are defined in the mods settings - also the number of days to show reports for is defined in the settings. If enabled, this will also add a link to your Quick Links or Community Links. There is also an option to prefix the link path if you use something like CMPS. This will only list reported posts and private message's. Support Support & Bug fixes will be provided for vBulletin 4.2.0 onwards. Limited support will be provided for vBulletin 4.1.8 - 4.1.12 (No bug fixes). Support will not be provided for Alpha & Beta versions, or anything prior to vBulletin 4.1.8. Low priority will be given to posters who do not have this marked as installed In some cases, support can only be provided if I have an admin login and ftp access. History: v4.0.1 : 15-Jan-2010 : Initial release for vb 4.0.0 Gold. v4.0.2 : 16-Jan-2010 : Updated to build links using vbulletin seo function. v4.0.3 : 20-Feb-2010 : Internal changes, not released. v4.0.4 : 27-Feb-2010 : Style code updates for vB 4.0.2. v4.1.0 : 04-Dec-2010 : Updated for vBulletin 4.1. v4.1.7.0 : 16-Oct-2011 : Updated for vBulletin 4.1.7. v4.2.0.0 : 24-May-2012 : Updated for vBulletin 4.2.0. |

installed but Link is not work correct...mod make link like that http://www.domain.com/vbulletin/show...44#post4442344
but correct link must be like this http://www.domain.com/vbulletin/showthread.php?59082&p=4441779#post4441779 For this reason when u clikc the link, it goes only first post, not the reported post |
It goes to the correct post for me in both FF and IE.
What exactly is 5908 ? |
i think its a thread id...vbulletin own report post system create that kind of link....and its work on my forum..
|
Wow, this is great. I own a big board so we get tons of reported posts and this looks like it will make things much easier!
Thanks. |
I think what you mean is it doesnt create seo links, which is true, something I can alter for v4.0.2
|
Woahh guess what.. there is no option exist to report post in postbit :@
Reporting it to vb.com |
Are you set up correctly ? - in vb4 if you have report to e-mail turned off, and dont have create thread enabled, then reporting is disabled.
|
Thanks paul.. it makes sense... if both options are turned off, where reported post would go :)
enabling email moderator solves the issue. |
is it possible to send a notify/pm to the moderators? so they can know that there is a reported post!
and how can i make the reported post list between the reporter and moderators? so it will list the reposters that he/she sent and our actioned. thanks Paul. |
Mod installed on vB 4.0.1, and after reporting post does not appear in the list of reported posts. What could be wrong?
