Awesome plugin!
BUT-- I can't make the plugin highlight the cmps index page even when I add adv_index in the options page. The forums tab is highlighted when visiting either the cmps or forums page. I'm using vb 4.0.2 However, when I add "index" in stead of "adv_index", both tabs get highlighted but in a wrong way. The forums tab is highlighted when I visit the cmps homepage, & the cmps homepage tab is highlighted when I visit the forums tab. That's weird. Thnx! |

can someone help me - ive spent hours today trying to find a way to link to my photopost gallery and this seems the only way I can but Ive tried installing this 5 times and I cant get the menu to show in admin cp - the files there in the settings menu .
I downloaded the files to my comp then uploaded to my vb4 folder and chose the xml file via the plugin manager. I even copied the xml file to the includes folder to see if it was that! I presume its omething simple im doing wrong - its a steep learning curve im on |
Hi Johnny!
I am still waiting for your addition to allow a tab to be highlighted if it is a forum and you are in a thread or post or subforum. Have you done this yet? If not, any idea when? I sent you some money in anticipation for this feature and am still waiting. Thanks! Edit: To clarify, this post explains it well I hope. :) |
is it possible to have a sub menu in the dropdown menu.
menu - submenu 1 - submenu 2 - submenu 3 .. - sub submenu 1 .. - sub submenu 2 - submenu 4 |

Great mod - I created a plugin to do something similar but you have done well with this and it should have been standard for vb4 - well done Mate!
There is always a BUT :)... as I will have different pages in the sub menu of a tab, the only problem with the new vb4 tab menu system is that a user has to click a tab first before they can see the sub menu items - not your fault mate but rather a vb fault with lack of forethought in making their navbar more user friendly in my opinion. It would really enhance this mod if there was some way that on-hover of a tab changes the sub menu items to the ones under that tab you are hovering on - helps the user to decide if that tab has the sub menu items they may be looking for - when the mouse leaves the navbar hover the sub menu items are back displaying the items for the selected tab. Just a thought but would be greatly helpful to site users |
if someone would help us would be great

this menu does not seem to work well with all version of IE on my sites
any fix for that |
This could be MOTM, but still needs improvement! The selected tab being one of them and define index.php from forum.php in vbadvanced.
