One small problem I'd love it if someone could address:

I installed this and it worked fine, but I decided that I had no real need for it after trying it out so I went to the products manager in AdminCP and selected uninstall. The hack uninstalled from the system, but after the uninstall was completed it left some undesirable remains of the product's settings menu in the sidebar of the AdminCP. I tried re-installing it and repeating the uninstall process, but still it leaves behind this mess. I don't need the hack on my vB4, but I also don't want that ugly mess it left behind on my AdminCP sidebar.

Tell me how to fix this please

The first time you installed it, do you remember uploading a couple of files? You probably do. Go back and find those and delete them.

Thank you Infopro... that did the trick. I had deleted the php file before but I apparently had overlooked the xml in includes/xml

This is an excellent mod, however I'm running vb4 and Photopost Gallery Pro as a result I've got loads of conflicts so haven't a clue how to get around the THIS_SCRIPT conflicts such as the following:

../forum/search.php
../gallery/search.php

../forum/members.php
../gallery/members.php

As a result the wrong tab is often highlighted because as far as I'm aware the THIS_SCRIPT conditions only allows single word entry's, eg; search, members. Is there a way around this because every 'create a Navbar Tab' suggestion I've looked at so far always requires the use of THIS_SCRIPT.

If I knew how to define URL_PARAMETER maybe that would be a solution?

Please help! :(

Hello,

Downloaded:

sstab_advanced_203.zip
and
sstab_advanced_204a.zip

but I cannot find this file inside or im stuck at this step:

Import the product 'product-evbs_sstab_advanced.xml'

the file inside the downloaded folder is cpnav_evbs_sstab.xml

should I just rename that? lol:p

Thanks for the tab mods. Any reason when members login they cannot see the tab? I add few tabs and admin and un-register account was able to view fine. I check the permission everything look fine for registered user. This is weird why Admin and Un-registered can view, but not registered members. Thx

I figured out now you have to unchecked all the box for the permission under allow.

There is a simply template addition that works .. Manually add Navbar link

You can see I got it to work for linking to my photopost gallery. DeereTalk

Yours isn't working either mate. I agree you have successfully added the Gallery tab, however when you click on the gallery tab and view the gallery index page your tab bar has the 'forum' tab highlighted with the associated forum submenus below.

With this Mod I can keep the Gallery tab highlighted for the Photopost Gallery index page by use of the unique Photopost 'ppindex' THIS_SCRIPT indentifier, however as stated before because of the requirement of THIS_SCRIPT in both this Mod and the template hardcoding you've link to, I can't see a way to keep the Photopost Gallery tab highlighted (and all submenus present) when viewing all Photopost Gallery pages because both the Photopost Gallery and vB forum have many files of exactly the same name such as:

/forum/search.php
/gallery/search.php

/forum/members.php
/gallery/members.php

Using this MOD or your template suggestion if I code my Photopost Gallery tab submenus THIS_SCRIPT with 'search' or 'members' (or view those gallery pages) the Gallery tab fails to highlight and instead the Forum tab highlights. Can I get around this by hardcoding the Navbar template with URL's, if so how?
