Try reading the instructions on the mod release at the top of the page..It explains all of that there..

I don't believe this mod works with VB4.1 so that could the problem if you are using it...Otherwise it is most likely due to custom templates etc...Read the top of the page where the release is.. you will find it all there..

Are you guys even reading the instructions?? Do you have custom templates? It should work with your version. You may have to take a couple extra steps as the author mentioned in his instructions..

Not every mod is as simple as installing a plug in...would be nice though.. :)

not works vBulletin 4.1.0 Patch Level 2, I tried disabled all others mods but the sidebar only show ok on forum home, on other pages show at the bottom of the pages. Uninstalling now waiting for a new version, great mod.

Yes, this mod is not updated for 4.1 yet.. It should be ready by the end of the year as per the authors post..

Thanks

Looking forward to the version for vb 4.1... have a site upgrade that we need the sidebar everywhere, and this looks a lot better than trying to do something custom in the skin.

Will mark installed when it works with 4.1

What doesn't work on 4.1 P2? I'm using it and the only issue I have is with my forumdisplay icons not being properly aligned. Other than that, it works fine.

I tried it on a fresh install, no plugins, default template, right out of the box. Here is my post from :http://www.vbulletin.org/forum/showp...&postcount=721

My apologies if this is mentioned already, I tried searching;

I'm running vb 4.0.2 and I've been happy with ESB 114. I installed the 1.3.4 version and my sidebar won't show up. It's activated, and it's not showing at the bottom either.

I've installed a fresh "out of the box" vb 4.0.2 installation on a dev server and it's the same result so I know it's not my theme or other plugins.

The default vb sidebar shows up just fine, but not ESB 1.3.4

Any ideas? And again, I've got a fresh install of vb, no other plugins or modifications added except for ESB 134.

So, as tocheli says, it works on 4.0.2 but is this the 1.3.4 version?

When will the updated version will be relased which can support 4.0.8 and higher.....currently I had disabled the mod from my site..as the sidebar is appearing misaligned and appears at the bottom the page.....

Just looking at this with firebug... it looks like there is some additional CSS that is not getting called in the content_container and content divs. The CSS that is not getting called is the #content_container CSS. If you disable this CSS in the forum home with sidebar, it makes the sidebar act exactly like the way the broken sidebar everywhere is doing now. I am not sure how to fix it because that CSS doesn't appear in the XML file anywhere. If anyone following this is good with CSS, maybe you can suggest how we can patch it until the developer comes in with a new release.

I'm pretty much ready to go live with upgrading my forum to vb 4, and really need this before I can proceed to maintain my existing ads that are already bought.

DefenceTalk 27 Dec 2010 02:20

Thanks for the plugin!

Two questions:

How do I include php code or php file in the sidebar?

And can I use conditionals?

I upgraded one of my forums to 4.1 and looking for a solution to those two issues.

Thank you.
