I installed today and it always says Loading and Status says Loading also... Any ideas?:confused: :erm:

When something is written it says:

Your submission could not be processed because a security token was missing.

If this occurred unexpectedly, please inform the administrator and describe the action you performed before you received this error.

Did you even read just a few posts back???? http://www.vbulletin.org/forum/showp...postcount=1752

The very first thing you must do before installing any mod is to read through the entire thread. The reason you must do this is because if you don't you'll just end up knocking your head against the wall while looking damn silly.

This is my first mod I installed and it did not work :(

Installation:
-Import XML file (as product): AdminCP > Plugin System > Manage Products > [Add/Import Product]

Did the above, but had no idea what to put as the Product ID or Version Check Url, and it seems it really wants all those boxes filled in, so I just put the name as product id with the _ in between them, and same url as this thread for version although that doesn't work.

To add to desired template (example FORUMHOME):
1. Add 'index' to THIS_SCRIPT locations (Product options)
2. Add 'FORUMHOME' to template names (Product options)
3. Open 'FORUMHOME' template and put "{vb:raw vsachatbox}" to desired line (for example after '<!-- /main -->') -> Save

Did #3, not sure what you mean by #1 and #2, so I didn't know what to do on them.

To set options:
Go to: AdminCP > vBulletin Options > VSa - ChatBox

It's not there in the Options. What am I missing here? I have the MSG chatbox on and want to replace it with this one, is that why?

You are trying to create new plugin.

This is complete mod, so you just need to install it.

AdminCP > Plugin System > Manage Products > [Add/Import Product]

[Add/Import Product] is found below list of installed products on "Manage Products" page.

I did that part, after Add/Import, it has a screen to fill out with the information, am I just not supposed to put the name of the mod in and what about the product ID? I thought I did everything right on the import, but it just isn't showing up on my options. I didn't know if that was because I still had the other chatbox enabled?

If you read what I wrote above though, I thought I followed the directions like you had them, with the exceptions of the #'s above I didn't understand.

I have the same problem, I have a light skin and a dark skin, and need to change the default text for both so they will show up, just looking for what template to use.

All my Registered users can only see Moderators & Admins in Chat as "Invisible". How can i fix that?

cruspeed 08 Jun 2011 00:56

anyone else having a problem with the chatbox hanging on "Loading...."

I have to load the full chatbox to get it to come back in full effect on the main forum....

I am alittle new to coding but found this:

Options +FollowSymLinks
RewriteEngine ON
RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} ^FORUM.com [NC]
RewriteRule ^(.*)$ http://www.FORUM.com/$1 [L,R=301]
my forum is www.eastcoasthondas.com/forum

Works on 4.1.3

Since most of my images are (PNG) instead of gif.
((Images below didn't show up on chat box))

1. I changed:
post_new.gif -> post_new.png
post_old.gif -> post_old.png
in Plugin > plugin manager > VSa - ChatBox - MN

2. I changed:
smilie.gif -> smilie.png
in the Template section

*I guess the newer vbulletin version uses png's instead of gif's? (most of it)

Updated to 4.1.4 and the chat area of the mod is not transparent. How can i fix this?

Yes, this has been covered within the thread.

Nice. Just installed this after the co-owner of my site wanted a chatbox JUST for our two arcades (v3arcade and ibproarcade).

I though that was going to be a nightmare, but this modification is an absolute dream to configure so it shows only on specific pages. Even fairly complicated scripts that don't follow vB "standards" like ibproarcade.

Had it all sorted and done in less than an hour, having expected this to be a weekend project. Also works flawlessly and doesn't seem to load the server particularly (though admittedly I'm on a VPS and I changed the refresh rate to 30 seconds as that's plenty when you're actually playing games!).

Very impressive.
